Jeff Crabtree

Raised in Jackson since 5, Jeff’s parents opened up a small photo studio in what is now a fraction of Skinny Skis. An avid skier/daredevil growing up (ask him about Crabtree Rock), Jeff skied at the University of Colorado winning the NCAA’s 3 out of 4 years. After, Jeff moved back to Jackson as head coach of the JH Nordic team, which then led to the opening of Skinny Skis.

Phil Leeds

Phil moved to Jackson in 1977 from California, joining Jeff and Owen for Skinny Skis' first summer. Today, Phil manages our men's clothing and coordinates the men's & women's footwear. He also works with community non-profits and spearheads Skinny Skis' marketing. Outside the shop, Phil enjoys all aspects of xc skiing, the Teton backcountry and fly fishing.

Scott O'Brien

Originally from Illinois, Scott is the newest partner at Skinny Skis working as a hardgoods buyer specializing in nordic and climbing products. "New" is a relative term, Scott first worked here as a shop tech 25 years ago. In his free time, you'll find Scott climbing in the Tetons (Garnet Canyon is a favorite) or xc skiing during his lunch breaks in the winter months.

Dan Haarman

Store Manager

A Michigan native, Dan has worked at Skinny Skis for four years. As one of our tech gurus, Dan is indispensable when it comes to explaining the subtle nuances of any gadget whether it be a Suunto Sportwatch or Ortovox transceiver. When he's not at work, Dan is most likely to be found practicing one of his many artistic hobbies or skiing/hiking in the backcountry.

Jenn Staph

Softgoods Buyer

From a place she affectionately calls Pennsyltucky, Jenn has been a buyer and merchandiser in our store since 1999! Now with two boys under 3, Jenn is a busy lady. When time (and sleep) permits you'll find Jenn in the outdoors whether it be classic skiing, running, camping, rafting, or hanging out with her boys.

Kim Pennington

Softgoods Buyer

A Pittsburgh native, Kim came out here for a ski vacation in the early '90's and never left! Today she works as our softgoods buyer, window dresser and merchandiser among other things. When she’s not running around the store fulfilling all her roles, Kim is running around town biking with her dog Sammy, surfing on the Snake River or skinning the King in the winter.

Janette Baribeau

Shipping and Warranties

Like many now residents of Jackson, Janette came here on a ski trip one winter and never left! New Hampshire born and raised, Janette loves a good classic tour, snowboarding, backpacking and going out to live music concerts in town. Here at Skinny Skis we rely on Janette as our shipping/receiving/warranty guru and resident problem solver.

Ryan Hayes

Shop Technician

With 20+ years of experience as a ski technician, Ryan's extensive knowledge will guide you towards the best gear for your needs. When Ryan's not busy putting that perfect tune on your skis, he can be found at Targhee with his daughter, skiing powder on the pass or biking all around Teton Valley.

Ron Levy

Hardgoods Buyer

Lured here from South Africa by photos of the Jackson Hole backcountry in issues of Powder Magazine, Ron has been with Skinny Skis for over 7 years specializing in hardgoods. On his off days Ron enjoys a good tele ski in the backcountry, hiking with his dogs, or playing soccer and mountain biking in the summer.

Kasey Collins

Sales Associate

A local to the Jackson area since he was 10, Kasey specializes in ski sales and is a Masterfit certified boot fitter. In other words, this guy knows his stuff. On his free time you'll find Kasey fishing on the Snake River with his fly-rod, jamming to local live music or out playing with his kids.

Niki Treadup

A world traveler, Niki lived in Germany, Sweden, Hawaii and Massachusetts before settling in Jackson. Niki works at Skinny Skis part of the year and manages Moosely Mountaineering in the summer. On her days off you'll find her on an all day mountain bike trip in the Gros Ventres or skiing in the park.

Bo McDowell

Sales Associate at Skinny Skis and Moosely Mountaineering

A southern charmer from South Carolina, Bo's customer service skills and all-around knowledge of the outdoors make him a valuable asset whether he is working at Skinny Skis or Moosely Mountaineering. When he's not at work, Bo enjoys going out on solo adventures of epic proportions whether it be climbing, kayaking, hiking, or skiing in the Tetons.

Amy Yatsuk

Graphic Designer

An east coaster at heart, Amy came out to Jackson last year to initially work on a ranch. She now works as our all-in-one marketing/social media/web/graphic designer, promoting Skinny Skis on the web, through social media platforms and in-store. When she can get away from the computer, her favorites are snowboarding, hiking and using her new camping set-up!
